OPENING NIGHT: BETWEEN SHADOWS

In collaboration with renowned cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and acclaimed soprano Anna-Lena Elbert, 'Between Shadows' brings together music from across four centuries and is framed by George Crumb’s visceral Black Angels: 13 Images from a Dark Land. In an unbroken narrative, the three sections of Black Angels are interspersed with Vivaldi, Beethoven and Tavener, inviting us to hear these pieces in a new way.
