LATE NIGHT: forbidden rituals

Percussionist Augustin Lipp and pianist Ryan Jung join forces in a new composition - a continuous and minimalist work that re-examines liturgical elements of spirituality through improvisation, reverberant acoustics, and electronics. Forbidden Rituals aims to break the separation between audience and performer by placing them directly inside the sound of the instruments, encompassing elements of ancestral storytelling traditions. In the purest sense, litany becomes the antiphon of breath and sound coming together.
